Radiology Administrative Assistant

Location: Buckshaw Hospital, Chorley
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, variable hours between 8‑6 am.

We operate a successful Radiology service providing CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Mammography to our local area and NHS partners.

Job Description

The successful candidate will ideally have had administrative experience in radiology and bring a positive attitude to our day‑unit, helping to organise scans and build referrals for our partners. The role is Monday to Friday 9‑5, but other hours and days may be considered depending on circumstances and business needs. You will be part of a close‑knit, innovative radiology team delivering an exceptional diagnostic imaging service. At the heart of patient care, you’ll build relationships with all the hospital’s key departments, and our consultants across many specialisms. While providing exceptional customer service, you’ll also track, process and manage patient records, perform audits, assist in booking patients, and liaise closely with consultants, private patient teams, outpatient team members, and more. This role is pivotal in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of our patients.
