Location: Pinehill Hospital, Hitchin
Hours: 20 Hours Per Week, Part-Time
Evening shifts: 4pm-9pm Monday to Friday (this role could suit someone looking to work after school hours)
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team. You will work with delivering exceptional standards of administration and customer service while being the front face of the hospital. This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients, Consultants and all hospital departments. You must have a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative, the ability to work within a team and adaptability. You must be computer literate – experience with Word and Outlook being essential.
We are looking for someone who can do evenings. Evening shifts are 4pm-9pm Monday to Friday.
What you will bring
- Experience in a front facing or customer service role
- Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent
- Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including databases
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and consultants on a day to day basis applying appropriate methods and interpersonal skills
- Positive, willing attitude
- Self-motivated and possess strong organisational, interpersonal and customer service skills
