Role Overview
As the Private Patient Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Private Patient Manager and facilitate the private patient journey, ensuring delivery of excellent customer service and growth in private patient volumes. This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients, consultants, and all hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all enquiries and book appointments via telephone, email or social media.
- Provide detailed information to patient enquiries while delivering excellent customer service.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal hospital teams, consultants, medical secretaries and external stakeholders to ensure appointments are converted.
- Maintain contact with potential patients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress of their enquiry.
- Scanning & auditing of patient information.
- Other duties as directed.
What you’ll bring
- Proven track record of achieving targets whilst maintaining an outstanding level of customer service.
- Excellent computer literacy – experience in Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining patient and consumer focused.
- Experience working in a private healthcare setting is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to make decisions and use initiative.
- Flexible and positive attitude.
Working hours (Bank contract)
Monday 10am‑6pm, Thursday 10am‑6pm, Saturday 9am‑1pm.
