Health Care Assistant – Daycase page is loaded## Health Care Assistant – Daycaselocations: Ketteringtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: October 29, 2025 (29 days left to apply)job requisition id: JR14205**Job Description**## **Health Care Assistant – Daycase**## **Full Time 37.5 Hours**We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join the assembling team for our Day Case Unit- Glendon Wood/Woodland Hospital with the expectation to work across both sites.The new development, a combined investment of £14.5 million, will provide much needed outpatient (including physiotherapy), diagnostics and theatre capacity to support the current waiting times for secondary care as well as meet the future demands of an ageing and growing local population, reaching over 250K people in Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough.The day case facility will provide 2 x laminar flow theatres, endoscopy suite, an ambulatory service, static CT, MRI, X-Ray & Ultrasound, 6 Consulting Rooms, and 1 Treatment Room. Our new facility will be launched at a time when Kettering General Hospital propose to commence their own redevelopment of their existing site, and therefore we can provide capacity and support to the local healthcare system whilst this is taking place.Working as part of a team working alongside our Nurses & Consultants to deliver the best patient care. Our ideal candidate will have a genuine compassion and care for individuals and are keen to develop their skills. Previous experience in care is desirable however not essential as full support and training will be offered. An NVQ level 2 or 3 in care would be advantageous however at this time we can support you with your training needs.
