Our business lives or dies by the quality of the relationships we build with our customers. When we win a client, we want to keep them for the long-term, and that means looking after them better than our competition could. We are "the secure choice" for all our customers. Dealing with people daily, you’re the person that really helps our clients to enjoy the 'stress-free' feeling about IT that we promise.

Your job is to be proactive, professional and friendly with all interactions with clients—supporting them onsite, fixing issues (and preventing them from happening again), making them feel calm and confident in your ability, and ensuring that the client always feels well communicated with. The feeling you leave the client with after your interaction will often form that client’s whole opinion of our company.

This role will involve providing onsite desk-side support to our clients across London and the Southeast as well as some remote work from our office. On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Visit clients for planned or ad-hoc visits, floor-walking, interacting proactively with end users and supporting them with any IT & AI queries.
  • Deal with a wide variety of users and businesses, from small to large, corporate to charity, IT savvy to the technically challenged!
  • Manage your own case load, elevate calls to senior colleagues and liaise with third parties to find a speedy resolution to client’s issues.
  • Research issues for which you don’t have an immediate answer.
  • Work alongside the wider ramsac team, to manage client issues that might need input from other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and develop your technical skill set to ensure that our solutions remain at the cutting edge.
  • Perform ad-hoc remote machine setups.
  • Support senior colleagues with project delivery.
  • Maintain good communication with clients by providing them a run-down of what you have completed for them during your visits.

We are building the UK's Best in Class Technology Service Provider. To do that, we only want to work with the best. Our staff are proud to say, ‘I am ramsac’ and their personal values reflect the core ramsac beliefs, which is all about going the extra mile and being genuinely concerned about providing clients with the highest quality service. Are you ramsac enough to be part of this very special team?

What’s Really Important To Us:

  • Providing clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form, without using jargon.
  • Being self-motivated and initiative driven and thinking outside the box.
  • Planning your workload, being prepared and meeting deadlines.
  • Always putting the customer first.
  • Dealing with things as they happen, and being flexible with anomalies.
  • Being a reliable member of the team.
  • Instilling confidence in your approach both with colleagues and clients alike.
  • Being passionate about current technologies; always pushing yourself and the company forward.
  • Being open minded and confident in using new and developing technology & AI advancements.
  • Having a can-do attitude, and persevering to get the job done.
  • Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
  • Maintaining a level-head, keeping calm under pressure and appreciating the bigger picture.

You will have a background working on an IT helpdesk at least at a second line level and a full, clean, valid UK driving licence.

The icing on the cake:

  • You will have client facing experience.
  • You will be used to working independently.
  • You may have tech certifications in Microsoft technologies/networking fundamentals.
