A few words about us
What you will be doing
We’re looking for a People Assistant to help us create an environment where exceptional talent can do the most meaningful work of their lives. You’ll be embedded in our People team, working closely with our People Lead, and be the cultural heartbeat of our London office. If you’re someone who gets energy from helping others thrive, loves building structure in chaos, and wants to grow fast — you’ll love this role.
Why Ramp?
- Accelerated learning: You\’ll gain cross-functional exposure and hands-on experience you won’t get elsewhere.
- High trust, high impact: You’ll own meaningful work from Day 1 — with support, but also autonomy.
- Be part of a rocketship: We\’re growing fast, and so will you.
- Team-first culture: Radical respect, open feedback, and people who genuinely have your back.
What you will be working on
People Experience & Office Support
- Be the go-to person for everything people- and culture-related at our London hub — from greeting new joiners to making sure our coffee game is strong.
- Create a space that’s not just an office, but a living embodiment of our values — stocked, welcoming, and buzzing with energy.
- Be a first responder to team needs: whether it’s a policy question, a people issue, or a broken espresso machine.
- Own and optimise our onboarding and offboarding journeys — making every first and last day thoughtful, smooth, and memorable.
- Partner with Talent to keep hiring logistics sharp and candidate experience top-notch.
- Take the lead on internal culture-building initiatives: team socials, Ramp rituals, and inclusion moments that really land.
People Administration
- Keep our HR systems (HiBob, Notion, etc.) clean, current, and compliant.
- Support day-to-day operations with high ownership — contracts, documents, audits, and more.
- Help organise team training, offsites, and internal comms that keep everyone aligned and energised.
- Drive forward People projects — from engagement initiatives to process improvements — with a bias to action and curiosity.
️Our toolkit
You’ll be using: Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, HiBob, Greenhouse, Notion — and anything else that helps us run smart and scale fast.
What you will bring
- Previous experience in a People, Admin, or Ops support role (start-up experience is a bonus, not a must)
- Proactive, positive, and hungry to learn — you don’t wait to be told, you spot opportunities and run
- Natural multitasker with strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Clear, compassionate communicator — someone who connects dots and people
- Deep care for employee experience and the small things that make a big difference
- Comfortable with fast-paced, evolving environments — ambiguity excites you
