System Integration & Validation Engineer

The core is a SW-empowered, low-power, reliable, and durable computing platform, enabling high data rate processing in space. From small satellites to deep space exploration, Ramon.Space’s computing products ensure that missions are smart, adaptable, and future proof.

Our mission is to revolutionize the way satellites, space robots and spacecrafts communicate through deep space, in earth orbit and with ground stations. Our technology is based on space proven state-of-the-art proprietary architecture that enables a unique approach to the way space communication systems are designed. We are looking for a System Integration & Validation Engineer to lead innovation in our next generation space Comm technology.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and maintain all integration and validation activities.
  • Design, build and operate our integration and validation lab.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to validate and approve all telecom payload modules and subsystems.
  • Develop automated test procedures and related hardware setups.
  • Lead outbound integration and validation activities with subcontractors, partners, and customers.
  • Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team to lead high-impact technical decisions about system design, implementation, and validation.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with integration and validation of embedded telecom systems.
  • Hands-on experience with RF testing equipment and electronics lab work.
  • Hands-on experience developing telecom testing and validation protocols.
  • Good knowledge in RF, mixed-signal, and signal processing.
  • Good knowledge in L2 switching and L3 routing protocols.
  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with emphasis on telecom.
  • Highly motivated, team player driven to achieve high quality results.
