Join a growing renewable energy business. Ramki is a family-run business specialising in renewable heating, cooling, ventilation and solar systems for homeowners across London. For over 50 years, we have built our reputation on quality workmanship, excellent customer service and delivering technically advanced systems that genuinely improve the comfort, health and energy efficiency of our customers' homes.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Installation Project Manager / Site Coordinator to keep our high-end residential installations running on time, on budget, and to the standard our clients expect.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the centre of how our projects get delivered. You'll take the quoted hours and design intent from our Mechanical Designer and turn them into a real, workable installation plan then own that plan through to handover. This is a hybrid role, based out of our office in West Ealing with regular travel to sites across London, so you'll need to be able to commute comfortably between the two.
- Build installation plans in partnership with the Mechanical Designer, ensuring the plan matches the quoted hours
- Identify all project dependencies, confirm clear ownership of each, and secure sign-off from the relevant owner before work proceeds
- Plan and track materials deliveries so everything is on site when the installation needs it
- Check in daily on active installations, confirming the team is progressing as planned
- Communicate any delays promptly to management and the relevant site contact
- Keep all job tracking fully up to date across our systems
- Respond to and manage any changes raised on site, working through the impact on programme, budget and dependencies
- Support engineers through risks and issues as they arise on site
- Work alongside the Lead Engineer to carry out quality audit checks, ensuring every installation is quality assured before handover
What We're Looking For
You will be:
- Experienced in project management or site coordination within construction, MEP, or building services
- Confident reading and working from technical/mechanical designs and specifications
- Highly organised, with a natural instinct for spotting risk before it becomes a problem
- A clear, proactive communicator comfortable raising bad news early rather than late
- Comfortable holding engineers and trades to account without being heavy-handed
- Detail-focused, particularly around tracking, documentation and sign-off
- Motivated by getting things right first time, not just getting them done
- Able to comfortably commute between our West Ealing office and project sites across London
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience managing or coordinating installation projects, ideally in heating, renewables, HVAC or wider building services
- Experience working with or managing subcontracted trades on site
- Confident using job tracking / project management systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Able to travel regularly between West Ealing and sites across London
Desirable
- Experience working alongside mechanical or MEP designers on programme and hours planning
- Familiarity with heat pump, MVHR, radiant heating/cooling or renewable HVAC installations
- Background in a QA/quality audit function on site
What We Offer
- £45,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience
- A pivotal role at the centre of how our projects are delivered
- Exposure to some of London's most innovative, high-end sustainable residential projects
- A supportive, family-run team environment
- Real influence over how installations are planned, tracked and delivered
Why Ramki?
At Ramki, we believe homeowners deserve heating and cooling systems that are efficient, comfortable and built for the future. We invest in our people and give the right person real ownership over how our projects come together on site, not just a tracking spreadsheet to fill in. If you're an experienced Installation PM or Site Coordinator looking to take real ownership of delivery for a business that's been doing this for over 50 years, we'd love to hear from you.
