You will join Ramboll’s Building Structures team in London, working on local landmarks as well as national and international projects.

Responsibilities Develop and agree structural concepts and design philosophies.
Inspire and enthuse the engineers and technicians on your projects.
Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings.
Take ownership as day-to-day lead on a project or part of a project.
Push the boundaries of low-carbon design.
Key deliverables for the first 12 months Grow and maintain a network of contacts and be a great ambassador for Ramboll.
Lead the design process for a project (size suitable for level of experience).
Collaborate with colleagues from the London team and beyond to support implementation of aspects of the Ramboll Business Plan.

Starting point for growth Chartered with the IStruct E, ICE, or international equivalent.
An excellent communicator able to explain complex engineering principles verbally, in writing, and through sketching.
A track record of working on projects with high design, sustainability, or re-use of existing assets.
Experience in the design of primary construction materials (steel, concrete, timber) and general knowledge of building construction; MMC experience would be beneficial.
A passion for sustainable solutions.
A multidisciplinary mindset and an aptitude for learning about the wider aspects of building design.

Essential requirements We are also interested in any experience you may have in the following areas, but these are not essential: Assessment, retrofit and alteration of existing structures.
Construction supervision, building investigation and structural testing.
