Your new role
As our Digital Engagement Manager, you will drive and improve our digital engagement channels including our intranet, Viva Engage, newsletters and more. You will be part of the Internal and People team in Copenhagen (with the option to be located in Manchester) and will be collaborating closely with other functions across Ramboll - especially our IT department. You will streamline internal communication channels, uphold digital platforms, and lead the development related to SharePoint Modern from a communications perspective. One major project will comprise the upgrade of our current Microsoft Classic intranet to Modern. You will be instrumental in further developing our intranet platform, implementing a new channel strategy, and leveraging AI technologies.

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Drive and continuously improve our digital engagement channels, including our intranet Rambla and Viva Engage.
- Streamline and re-energize our internal communication channels to meet business needs and to ensure that our channels are ready to support the upcoming launch of our new company strategy.
- Lead initiatives and manage communication workstreams within larger projects, e.g. when upgrading to a new intranet platform by working closely with IT and external vendors.
- Develop and implement new channel strategies based on internal communication surveys, performance, and engagement data.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the use of existing services to meet evolving organizational needs and making sure we leverage AI developments.
- Leading the Digital Engagement Specialist working from Chennai, India, which includes day-to-day management and a close collaboration around the support of intranet users and communities.
About you
- Experience as an intranet or digital engagement manager.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a solid understanding of collaborating within large, complex and global organisations and working cross-functionally with various, international teams.
- Expertise in managing and optimizing global digital engagement platforms.
- Proven project management skills, demonstrating effective planning and multitasking abilities as well as being able to lead and support the colleague in India.
- Knowledge of how tech and AI impact internal communications.
- Proficiency in upgrading intranets (e.g., from SharePoint Classic to SharePoint Modern).
- Ability to use SharePoint Modern effectively, with additional skills in Viva suite being an advantage.
