Your new role and team
As our new Head of Vertical Transportation, you will play a pivotal role in developing and growing our team.
The team boasts an extensive portfolio of projects, both ongoing and in the pipeline, with a global reach and across diverse sectors.
The continuous expansion of our project portfolio reflects our commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of Vertical Transportation.
With an already established team, we find ourselves in the next phase of expansion and development; presenting a unique opportunity for you to further develop the VT team into a market leading entity to contribute to our success as an integral part of our expanding Buildings Advisory & Consultancy team.
As our new Head of Vertical Transportation, you will need to develop and maintain excellent client relationships while having great leadership skills with first rate communication to keep driving excellence from the team.
This is a key senior role within our nearly 67 strong Advisory team and wider 600 strong UK Buildings team. The role report into the Head of Advisory & Consultancy.
Your key responsibilities will be
- Instil purpose and set the direction for and grow the Vertical Transportation team, leading by example.
- Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Vertical Transportation team that aligns with the broader national strategies and services offered by Ramboll.
- Create a culture of openness and inclusion and ultimately be responsible for the pastoral care, performance, reward, development, and training of the people within the team.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the team and extending that collaboration to other parts of the business unit and the company as a whole.
- Take the lead on work winning, business development and marketing activities (e. g. technical marketing material, bid documents and client presentations).
- Building and maintaining a positive professional image, being recognized as a knowledgeable and trustworthy contact for clients.
- Taking the lead in preparing competitive bids and proposals to secure projects or contracts.
