Job Description

If so, this role could be the perfect opportunity. Join our Talent Acquisition Team as a Talent Sourcing Specialist and help close the gap to a sustainable future.

Your New Role

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist you will source and screen qualified candidates for targeted positions and proactively build and nurture a pipeline of skilled and diverse talent across Europe. To succeed, you should ideally have experience recruiting engineering or environmental consulting roles. Fluent Swedish or Norwegian language skills will be essential for supporting our business across Europe. Our Talent Acquisition team is located across the UK and enjoys a blend of home and office work, with the central office based in Birmingham. Team members are also based in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. The team includes passionate colleagues from the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, working closely together. As part of Ramboll’s Global Talent Acquisition organisation, you will define and deliver creative recruiting strategies for complex roles spanning multiple business areas and geographies within the Ramboll Organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface closely with Hiring Managers to understand business needs and identify where external talent pipelines or pools are required for particular geographical regions and functions.
  • Leverage various sourcing channels and methods (e.g., Boolean Search) to develop a proactive and steady pipeline of qualified and diverse talent for open, repeat and niche roles using social media, external databases, company home pages and search via CRM.
  • Generate innovative ideas, leverage resources and share information to develop effective sourcing strategies to identify candidate profiles.
  • Conduct pre‑screening phone interviews to assess candidates for required skill sets, competencies, potential fit for current and future positions and fit with Ramboll culture.
  • Build relationships with potential candidates via networking, employee referrals and passive recruiting techniques including the use of social media.
  • Network with external sources to continually enhance relationships and maintain the company’s presence in the market.

Qualifications

  • Previous recruitment experience in a multinational company or recruitment agency is preferred.
  • Experience in Engineering, Environmental or Management Consulting is beneficial.
  • You should be able to research, interpret and use competitor information.
  • Strong social media skills and the ability to create engaging content on LinkedIn are required.
  • Fluency in Norwegian or Swedish and strong English communication skills are essential.
  • Additional qualifications: knowledge of recruitment tools and systems including LinkedIn, ability to deliver results against SLAs, KPIs and team objectives, and prioritise multiple job openings under tight timelines.
