Your new role
As our new Health, Safety and Fire Consultant, you will join our fast-growing health and safety consultancy team, delivering a range of strategic and operational risk management assignments across most sectors and geographies.
We combine long-standing reputation for technical expertise with good practice and pragmatic, business-minded advice to assist clients address the complex interplay between regulatory and corporate requirements, organisational culture and change, and the increasingly technical challenges they face.
Your key responsibilities will be
- Delivering health, safety and fire risk management services in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
- Delivery of project work (including corporate and regulatory compliance auditing, report authoring, risk assessment, training delivery, ad-hoc advice, and a range of other tailored client solutions).
- Working closely with a clients across broad sectors.
- Supporting bids and development of proposals for new client work.
- Supporting promotion of Health, Safety and Fire Services.
- Your new team
You will be part of our Health and Safety consultancy department, working closely with knowledgeable colleagues both in the UK and overseas to deliver value adding services to our large portfolio of clients.
Our clients come from a range of sectors, including property, hi-tech, industrial, construction, and infrastructure.
You will be willing to travel in the UK, and occasionally overseas to deliver project work.
You will enjoy a flexible work environment, and a hard-working, friendly team.

These include
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
- NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety or Level 3 equivalent (essential).
- Associate Institute of Fire Safety Managers membership or equivalent (essential).
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent or working towards (desirable).
- Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment Qualification (desirable).
- Tech IOSH or Cert IOSH membership.
- Member Institute of Fire Safety Managers membership or equivalent (desirable).
- Full clean driving licence.
- At least three years demonstrable previous fire risk assessment experience.
- At least two years demonstrable health and safety experience.
- Comfortable working in a team, but with independence to manage your own workload.
- An understanding of UK Health, Safety and Fire legislation and maintaining compliance.
- Confident in a client/stakeholder facing environment.
