We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our growing 17‑strong team of landscape architects and landscape planners. The role will be based in our Bristol office, with flexible and hybrid working options. Locations in Leeds, Edinburgh, or Birmingham may be considered for the right candidate.

In this role you will work on a variety of projects including landscape assessment and strategy, LVIA, green infrastructure strategies, concept design, master planning, detailed design, landscape management, visualisations and 3D modelling, collaborating with environmental and engineering specialists. Projects range from green infrastructure to major transportation, restoration, town‑centre regeneration, streetscape design, and large‑scale renewable energy and transmission. We have a large in‑house environmental team and work collaboratively to find effective, original design solutions. We place great weight on our ability to combine skills for complex problems, develop long‑term client relationships, and help clients create sustainable, resilient places.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate landscape team input to projects
  • Provide support to landscape team leadership
  • Desk‑based analysis, research, data collection and interpretation
  • Conduct site visits and technical photography
  • Prepare written and graphic materials for design and assessment reports
  • Lead client and project team, and stakeholder events/meetings
  • Work collaboratively with the wider landscape team and mentor junior staff
  • Ensure delivery of high‑quality and technically accurate work
  • Provide landscape input to fee proposals and tender submissions
  • Utilise and explore digital tools for improved efficiency and quality

About You

The successful candidate will be a talented Landscape Architect with a good understanding of industry standards and professional practice; diligent, proactive and flexible. You must build good working relationships with colleagues, clients, and project teams. You will be well organised, have excellent communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Masters/Post‑Graduate degree from a Landscape Institute accredited course
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
  • Ability to work successfully and build relationships with colleagues and other consultants in the delivery of high‑quality, robust outputs
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
