Overview
As Project Manager — Healthcare, you drive day-to-day management of hospital and healthcare projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality.
You’ll act as the primary client liaison, oversee design and construction activities, and maintain robust project controls from feasibility through handover.
This role sits within Ramboll’s UK Healthcare team, supporting both national and international projects with a focus on sustainable, patient‑centred design.
You will work in a collaborative, design‑driven environment and play a key part in delivering Ramboll’s five‑year healthcare strategy.

Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of engineering advisory and design services across all project stages
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and specialist sub‑consultants
- Maintain project controls including scope, programme, budgets, change control, risk registers, and QA
- Lead design coordination meetings, prepare minutes and reports, provide programme updates
- Ensure governance and client contractual requirements are followed
- Manage day-to-day project activities, reporting, and client presentations
- Support discipline leads with resource allocation to hit milestones
- Ensure high‑quality, coordinated deliverables from teams and sub‑consultants
- Represent Ramboll to clients, contractors and stakeholders and enhance team profile
- Support bid teams and contribute to proposals and tender responses
- Key requirements
- Experience delivering multidisciplinary UK healthcare projects (new builds or refurbishments)
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
- MAPM qualification or working towards professional membership
- Proficient with digital design delivery (Revit/BIM 360) and coordinating BIM processes
- Strong project management skills including programme, change, risk, and commercial process management
- Ability to analyse financial information and produce clear reports
- Excellent communication to translate complex technical requirements for teams and clients
- Self-starter with autonomous work style and stakeholder management across geographies
