Overview
In this role you support fast-paced UK and global M&A transactions, identifying key EHS and ESG risks and delivering targeted advisory to buy-side and sell-side clients. You work with cross-disciplinary teams to assess ESG and environmental risks across sites and geographies, shaping post-acquisition sustainability priorities. You will manage due diligence deliverables, client communications, and proposal development, enabling informed negotiations and sustainable decisions. This opportunity lets you influence transaction outcomes and drive meaningful environmental risk insights within Ramboll’s global practice.

Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals with pricing, budgets, and timelines
- Engage in client discussions and help develop new client relationships
- Coordinate medium to large multi-site projects across geographies for buy-side and sell-side due diligence
- Deliver Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Limited Environmental Compliance Reviews (LECR) for diverse sites, including complex facilities
- Conduct ESG assessments of target companies, including data room desk reviews and management calls, and prepare client reports
Key requirements
- Relevant EHS/ESG knowledge and due diligence experience
- Experience delivering Phase I ESAs and LECRs, ideally to ASTM standards
- Ability to interpret information quickly and work autonomously
- Experience in proposal preparation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Project management experience
- Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland
- Understanding of UK environmental regulations and European sustainability regulations
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
