We act for many global private equity houses, multi-national businesses, property and asset investment and development institutions and legal firms.
This role provides the opportunity to further your career in the ESG and environmental due diligence space, playing an important role in the continued success of Ramboll’s transaction advisory practice, and working on technically challenging projects for high calibre clients as part of an enthusiastic, collaborative and highly experienced global due diligence consulting team.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Successfully deliver and manage ESG and environmental due diligence projects, often involving international asset portfolios and multi-person project teams.
- Development of technical and commercial ESG strategy and due diligence tenders.
- Performing a key role in ESG strategy and diligence-related client account management.
- Identifying and succinctly communicating ESG-related risks and opportunities.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments, regulations and standards in the ESG space.
- Acting as a technical mentor for other ESG and diligence team members.
- Pro-actively contributing to and promoting the ongoing technical and digital development of our ESG and diligence services.
- Collaborating widely with our international ESG and diligence team.
Your key deliverables in the first 12 months will include:
- Leading the preparation of ESG and environmental diligence and strategy proposals.
- Managing and delivering ESG and environmental diligence and strategy projects.
- Actively contributing to Ramboll’s global ESG and diligence networks.
- Mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- Leading on identifying, tracking and communicating developments in ESG assessment standards.
- Proactively representing Ramboll’s ESG and diligence services to the external market.
Your starting point for constant growth includes:
- Demonstrable experience of being a key member of ESG and environmental diligence teams.
- Ability to quickly and succinctly interpret and critically analyze ESG-related information.
- Experience of preparing ESG-related assessments against recognized standards.
- Appropriate professional understanding of the UK legal framework of environmental liabilities.
- Ability to engage with Clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Professional competence in the use of relevant software.
