Job Description Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, sustainable civil and infrastructure solutions?

Do you enjoy leading technical design, mentoring teams and bringing multidisciplinary projects from concept to completion?

If so, join Ramboll's Civil Engineering / Infrastructure team as Senior or Principal Engineer and help us close the gap to a sustainable future.

At Ramboll you'll work on a variety of meaningful projects β€” from local authority and residential schemes to commercial and industrial developments β€” where your designs will shape resilient, low-carbon infrastructure.

You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with strong links to our wider UK Infrastructure teams and the global Ramboll network.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence on project outcomes, business growth and professional development across the team.

Lead civil and infrastructure design delivery across projects (Su DS, surface & foul drainage, utilities, earthworks, highways) whether driven by Infrastructure or multi-disciplinary programmes.

Provide technical leadership, mentoring and line management to deliver projects and grow team capability.

Take ownership of project financials β€” fee forecasting, pricing and resource allocation.

Promote health, safety and quality best practice (including CDM) across the team.

Support business development: build relationships, gather market intelligence and prepare discipline-specific bids.

Meet with your colleagues in the Bristol office twice a week.

Strong technical background in civil engineering: Su DS, surface & foul drainage and earthworks design, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards.

Proven experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages.

Demonstrated ability to lead single and multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

Degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered or Incorporated with relevant Institution.

Desirable software experience: Info Drainage, Micro Drainage, Civil 3D.
