Ramboll invites you to apply for a Technician Apprenticeship in our Transport Infrastructure team, assisting the delivery of Infrastructure design services across a wide range of projects. You will be provided full support to achieve a Level 3 qualification, typically on a day release basis, and build a solid foundation for a successful career.
Ramboll cannot sponsor post-study or Skilled Worker visas for early career roles. You must have the right to live and work in the UK indefinitely without sponsorship now or in the future.
The Apprenticeship Programme typically lasts about 27 months (depending on experience). The cost of the Apprenticeship is funded by Ramboll through the Apprenticeship Levy.
Responsibilities- Work on small, medium and large projects, producing 3D models, visualisations, drawings and schedules that describe how to build Rambollβs award-winning designs under the leadership of the discipline manager.
- Learn to use an extensive suite of CAD applications and develop skills to improve their use.
- Collaborate with the Transport team and other disciplines nationally and internationally within the Ramboll Group to deliver projects.

On completion, you will meet the requirements for registration as an Engineering Technician with the Institution of Civil Engineers, subject to Engineering Council requirements. Potential progression includes continuing as a Civil Engineering Technician, pursuing a Senior Technician Apprenticeship, or completing a degree (apprenticeship options available) in Civil Engineering.
The apprenticeship involves working for Ramboll four days a week and a day release per week in person at college or remotely at South Hampshire College Group. An End Point Assessment will be required to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours learned during the apprenticeship.
Team and CultureYou will join the Roads & Highways department in our Bristol office, working with a dynamic team of experts. You will receive on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced professionals.
