Your New Role
As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will source and screen qualified candidates for targeted positions and proactively build and nurture a pipeline of skilled and diverse talent across Europe. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, use varied sourcing methods (such as Boolean Search), and develop effective sourcing strategies for complex roles across Ramboll’s business areas and geographies. Fluency in Swedish or Norwegian is essential to support our business across Europe.
Our Talent Acquisition team is located across the UK with a blend of home and office work and centralised in Birmingham. The team includes colleagues from the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway who are eager to welcome you and collaborate on innovative recruiting strategies. As part of Ramboll’s Global Talent Acquisition organisation, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering creative recruiting strategies for complex roles that span multiple business areas and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface closely with Hiring Managers to understand business needs and to build external talent pipelines or pools for specific regions and functions.
- Leverage various sourcing channels and methods (e.g., Boolean Search) to develop a proactive and steady pipeline of qualified and diverse talent for open, repetitively hired, and niche roles using social media, external databases, company home pages, and search via CRM.
- Generate innovative ideas, leverage resources, and share information to develop effective sourcing strategies to identify candidate profiles.
- Conduct pre‑screening phone interviews to assess candidates for skill sets, competencies, potential fit for current and/or future positions, and alignment with Ramboll culture.
- Build relationships with potential candidates through networking, employee referrals, and passive recruiting techniques including social media.
- Network with external sources to continually enhance relationships and maintain Ramboll’s presence in the market.
About You
- Previous recruitment experience in a multinational company or recruitment agency (preferred).
- Previous experience in Engineering, Environmental, and/or Management Consulting (beneficial).
- Ability to research, interpret, and utilize competitor information.
- Strong social media skills with the ability to create and share engaging content on LinkedIn.
- Fluency in Norwegian or Swedish (essential), with strong English communication skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment tools & systems, including LinkedIn.
- Experience delivering results against SLAs, KPIs, and team objectives.
- Ability to prioritize multiple job openings under tight timelines.
