Rambert, the UK's original dance company, is recruiting a new Chief Executive.
Founded in 1926, today Rambert is recognised internationally for creating ambitious contemporary dance, commissioning leading choreographers, developing artistic talent, and engaging audiences through performance, participation, digital content, and dance education.
Based at its HQ on London's South Bank, Rambert combines artistic excellence with a diverse income model that includes public investment, commercial activity, and philanthropy.
Reporting to the Board and working in close partnership with the Artistic Director, the Chief Executive will provide strategic, financial, and organisational leadership for Rambert.
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of Rambert's long term vision, ensuring the organisation remains artistically ambitious, financially sustainable, and well positioned to grow its national and international impact.
Candidates will bring significant senior leadership experience gained within a complex organisation, together with a strong track record in strategic planning, financial management and leading high performing teams.
Experience of working within or alongside the arts, culture or creative industries is important, as is the ability to build productive relationships with a wide group of stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to lead one of the UK's leading cultural organisations at an important point in its history, building on strong foundations while shaping its future direction alongside an experienced Board, Executive Team and Artistic Director.
