Rambert’s Audiences Department brings together marketing, digital, content, audience insight, CRM and fanbase development to connect people with Rambert’s live shows, digital products, participation programmes and wider activity.
The team is responsible for growing audiences, deepening engagement and ensuring that audiences experience Rambert as one organisation rather than a collection of separate programmes. Through performances, Rambert Plus, Rambert Grades, participation activity, supporter engagement and digital content, the department plays a central role in building long-term relationships with audiences and generating income across the organisation.
The Senior Marketing Manager is a hands‑on senior role within the Audiences team, responsible for planning and delivering marketing campaigns and projects across a broad portfolio: Rambert’s repertoire touring programme, Rambert Grades, Participation & Community projects and Rambert Plus subscriptions. The postholder will bring Rambert’s audience and fanbase strategies to life through excellent campaign planning, copywriting, project management and partner relationships.
The role suits an all‑round marketer who is confident working across channels, audiences and priorities at once, and who is ready to take on a wide portfolio and lead a small team. Working closely with the Audiences leadership team, the Senior Marketing Manager will line manage two members of the Audiences team, act as day‑to‑day marketing contact for touring venues, and work with agencies and freelancers to deliver campaigns on time, on budget and to target.
