We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing business processes, translating data into actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop data-driven strategies, and implement solutions that enhance organizational performance.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
- Develop comprehensive data models and database designs using tools like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Looker.
- Design and implement ETL processes utilizing Talend, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and other relevant technologies to ensure accurate data integration.
- Create visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of solutions aligned with SDLC best practices.
- Conduct detailed data analysis leveraging SQL, R, VBA, and analytics techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate on database design and management to optimize data storage and retrieval for reporting purposes.
- Assist in developing documentation using Visio for process flows and system architecture diagrams.
- Stay updated on emerging analytics tools and techniques to continuously improve analytical capabilities within the organization.
Skills
- Proficiency in Business Analysis methodologies with strong analysis skills.
- Extensive experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker for data visualization.
- Solid understanding of Agile project management principles and SDLC processes.
- Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle databases, including database design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Talend; scripting skills in Python and Bash (Unix shell).
- Knowledge of R programming for statistical analysis; VBA for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with Linked Data concepts for integrating diverse datasets.
- Strong data analysis skills combined with the ability to interpret complex datasets into meaningful insights.
