Ramage Transport have a position for an Outbound Transport Planner to join our growing logistics team, based at our modern office facility near Cobalt/Silverlink in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Ramage Transport have a diverse UK general haulage client base providing end to end logistics solutions with a fleet of 90 vehicles, 110 trailers, and 2 warehousing facilities. Our business prides itself on service excellence and customer experience is an integral part of our brand.
We are looking for a driven candidate who can thrive in a fast paced logistics environment. The role will require daily communications with our client base, administering customer requirements within our IT systems and then allocating to our fleet of vehicles and drivers in an efficient manner to carry out customer deliveries outbound from the North East throughout the UK.
An ability to stay relaxed under pressure is essential, equally, good listening skills, patience, and problem solving abilities are sought after. Training will be provided on our logistics systems, but a good grasp of Microsoft Excel and Google Mapping would be helpful.
