Ralphs is a small independent food producer specialising in artisan deli products, savoury pastries, tarts, hummus, tapenades, and premium canapés supplied to carefully selected retailers, farm shops, and catering clients. We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on Senior Production Chef to play a key role in our production kitchen. This position is ideal for a chef who enjoys proper cooking, working with excellent ingredients, and being part of a small, focused team rather than a large restaurant brigade.

This role combines hands-on cooking with responsibility for organisation, production flow, and maintaining kitchen systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily production across the full Ralphs range, including hummus, dips, savoury pastries, tarts, and canapés
  • Maintaining consistent product quality, portioning, and presentation
  • Supporting production planning and kitchen organisation
  • Assisting with ordering, stock control, and ingredient management
  • Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and HACCP systems are maintained
  • Supporting packing and preparation for wholesale orders
  • Contributing to new product development and seasonal specials
What We're Looking For
  • Strong professional kitchen experience
  • Highly organised, calm, and reliable approach
  • Comfortable working in a small, focused production environment
  • Good understanding of food safety and kitchen systems
  • Attention to detail and pride in consistent results
  • Passion for simple, well-made food and quality ingredients
What We Offer
  • Stable, daytime-focused working hours
  • A small, supportive team environment
  • Opportunity to work with high-quality artisan products
