Our Glasshouse restaurant is a theatre for food in the heart of the hotel, boasting eight live cooking stations where the chefs will prepare individual dishes to suit our guests' taste. It's a celebration of international cuisine, from meat cooked on the robata grill to fresh pasta, salads and speciality Asian and Tandoori delicacies.
Being a Chef de Partie means you'll need to come with plenty of experience, an eye for detail and a great command of classic culinary techniques. As Chef de Partie you'll work clean and fast, preparing dishes from scratch for our guests dining in The Glasshouse. For an ambitious and tenacious chef, who’s keen to develop and grow, it’s an amazing opportunity to soak up the experience of a large team of chefs.
We pride ourselves on nothing but the finest seafood, fresh pasta made daily and we use seasonal ingredients sourced from Jemima's Kitchen Garden right here on our estate. We offer the best prime cuts of meat from the grill, and on a Sunday it's all about the roast. It is fast paced, with up to 200 covers in a service, so you need to be hardworking and a team player.
We are looking for chefs who are driven and have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, and have the experience of running a section or small team.
