In this role, you’ll be a key business partner to the Procurement Team, providing critical financial insight, analysis, and support to drive strategic decisions.

Our Client – A leading, national food manufacturer/distributor with a consistent passion for creating and delivering exceptional products for UK consumers, retailers, and through their market-leading brands.
The Opportunity:
- Business Partnering: Support and challenge the procurement team through various scenarios to ensure strategic delivery
- Financial Analysis: Manage customer pricing models, track inflation/deflation impacts, and provide financial clarity
- Balance Sheet & Rebates: Own reconciliations and ensure procurement rebate tracking is robust and traceable
- Value Chain Analysis: Assist procurement with supplier evaluations, offering data-driven insights
- Project Financials: Oversee financial tracking of value engineering projects to support bottom-line results
- Budget & Forecasting: Collaborate with commercial finance to deliver annual budgets and re-forecasts
- Performance Reporting: Enhance internal management information to provide clear business insights
- Leadership: Develop and manage one direct report, fostering growth and development
About you – A driven, positive and hands-on individual who thrives in a fast paced, growing environment, adapting quickly to change!
- Possesses strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data
- Is highly organised and efficient, with excellent time management skills
- Builds strong relationships through great communication and interpersonal skills
- Has exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
- Demonstrates commercial awareness and business acumen to support strategic decision-making
- Has an inquisitive mindset, always looking to challenge and improve processes
