Position Overview
This is a 6 month full time contract Buyer – MSW Polo WHSL Position Overview Integrate Buying & Planning Team by driving operations to establish the optimum commercial cross channel assortment for related brands/regions, whilst maximizing the financial plan and respecting the category/brand objectives and direction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assort, price and forecast the line
- Maintain the line in the IT system
- Order & track samples orders
- Track business performance weekly (SI, SO, GM,)
- Benchmark decisions against competition & broader market landscape
- Prepare & present the assortment at line opening meeting
- Define seasonal assortment needs upfront & share with Global Merchandising teams
- Contribute to brand elevation both on qualitative and quantitative point of view
- Participate/initiate business development projects
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Office package knowledge
- International background (work / study)
- Store visits experience and understanding of retail business
- Product presentation experience
- 1+ strategic cycle work experience as Buying Associate or similar role
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Concrete passion for Diversity & Inclusion values
- Excitement about team work and straight talk
