About the Role
RAL Community Care Ltd is currently recruiting Support Workers to join our team in Salisbury.
We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate individuals who have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in a healthcare, social care or care environment.
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and practical support to service users, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required.
- Support service users with mobility and other care needs.
- Assist with nutrition, hydration and mealtimes.
- Provide emotional and practical support.
- Encourage service users to maintain their independence.
- Observe and report any changes in a service user's health or wellbeing.
- Follow individual care plans and support plans.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Work effectively with nurses, senior carers and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and infection control procedures.
- Respect the privacy, dignity, rights and choices of every service user.
- Report any concerns, incidents or safeguarding issues promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care role.
- A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Ability to follow care plans and workplace procedures.
- Understanding of confidentiality, dignity and safeguarding.
- Willingness to complete required training and compliance checks.
