We are looking for a caring, dependable and compassionate Care Assistant to join the team in Lincolnshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals with their everyday care needs while helping them live with dignity, comfort and as much independence as possible.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide practical and personal care to individuals in a supportive care environment. You will play an important role in helping service users with their daily routines, maintaining their wellbeing and ensuring they feel respected, valued and supported. We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive and genuinely committed to providing person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day care and support based on each individual's needs and care plan.
  • Assist with personal care, dressing, washing and other daily activities where required.
  • Support individuals with meals, mobility and maintaining a comfortable daily routine.
  • Encourage service users to remain as independent as possible and make their own choices.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support when needed.
  • Observe and report any changes in an individual's health, behaviour or wellbeing.
  • Communicate professionally with colleagues, service users and other care professionals.
  • Complete care records accurately and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Always promote the dignity, privacy, rights and wellbeing of the individuals you support.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care setting is desirable.
  • A compassionate, patient and respectful approach to supporting others.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to build positive and professional relationships with service users.
  • Reliable, responsible and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow care plans, instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Relevant care qualifications or training, where required.
