Your Role at Raising Cane's
As an Assistant Restaurant Leader, you will be instrumental in supporting the Restaurant Leader with the daily operations of our restaurant. Your mission? Uphold Raising Cane's standards and culture in every aspect of our operations!
What You\'ll Do
Your impact will be felt in various ways, including:
- Team Management: Hire and terminate hourly, non-management crewmembers, and oversee their onboarding and payroll processes.
- Scheduling: Create work and training schedules for crewmembers.
- Performance Management: Coach and develop hourly crewmembers, providing feedback and documentation as needed.
- Operational Leadership: Act as the manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant.
- Financial Accountability: Manage cash handling and ensure accountability.
- Customer Service: Provide exemplary service to our guests.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Ensure the restaurant is clean and in good working order.
- Additional Duties: Complete other tasks as assigned to support the team.
What We\'re Looking For
- Detail-Oriented: Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-Driven: Energetic and flexible with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative Spirit: Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Problem Solver: Recognize and analyze issues, set goals, and create actionable plans.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
and quick to learn new systems. - Availability: Willing to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Experience: 3+ years in restaurant or retail management; new restaurant opening experience is a plus.
- Education: GCSEs or equivalent required; some tertiary education preferred.
- Driver\'s License: A valid UK driver\'s license is necessary.
