The Supply Chain Director provides strategic leadership that ensures a seamless, reliable, and safe flow of goods and services to Restaurants and internal partners in the United Kingdom. This role serves as a liaison to senior supply chain leaders across Purchasing, Distribution/Logistics, Quality Assurance (QA), and Food Safety, driving end-to-end supply strategies that mitigate risk, support growth, protect the Brand, and optimize cost, quality, and service. The Director leads cross‑functional collaboration, oversees critical supplier relationships, and strengthens supply chain capabilities to enable scale, resiliency, and operational excellence.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain execution across sourcing, logistics, distribution, quality assurance, and supply planning.
- Build a resilient supply network by identifying and maintaining product and service vendors that deliver best-in-class quality, service, and pricing while ensuring proactive risk mitigation, contingency strategies, and scalability for growth.
- Manage supply chain partnerships to uphold service metrics and Brand quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to food safety, product safety, and material standards while also leading response plans for supply disruptions, recalls, or quality incidents.
- Conduct ongoing visits to supplier production facilities to build relationships across QA, Operations, Sales, and Procurement teams.
- Complete audits to confirm compliance with manufacturing and product requirements while identifying supply or quality opportunities.
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to uphold quality and food safety excellence across all product categories.
- Facilitate communication and forecasting for demand planning to ensure balanced and reliable supply.
- Drive cost optimization and value management across sourcing, logistics, and inventory while supporting scalability and service reliability.
- Support Brand initiatives related to promotional and marketing programs.
- Direct supplier performance management, monitor market conditions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with International Operations, Culinary, QA, Legal, and Finance and act as a key supply chain advisor for international leadership.
Travel Requirements
Up to 20% with some international travel as required.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including leadership in sourcing, logistics, distribution, or supply planning.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or related field.
- Proven ability to lead large‑scale, multi‑unit supply chain operations in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
- Demonstrated success in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, product safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in import and export compliance.
- Product development experience with the ability to manage all aspects from ideation through implementation, including matching products to existing specifications and creating new specifications.
- Skilled in developing and executing supply chain strategies that improve cost.
