Job Description: The Construction Manager manages Restaurant construction-related activities and projects. This role ensures that all Restaurants are constructed in accordance with the approved construction drawings. The Construction Manager is responsible for applying effective management techniques to the planning, design, and execution of Restaurant construction from start to finish, with a focus on cost, time, and quality.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Review project documents and contracts to fully understand project specific scope of work
- Manage the construction schedules for general contractors
- Track, review, and respond to general contractors and equipment vendors
- Collaborate with the Design team to support timely and accurate document modifications
- Complete the handoff of finished Restaurant sites to the New Restaurant Opening team
- Support the Architect of Record with resolving site issues using construction documentation tools
Travel Requirements: Up to 50%
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Restaurant construction related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, or engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Flexibility to work remotely or on-site at a Restaurant Support Office
- Solution focused, with a global mindset for process improvements with the Construction team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and flexible for timely multi-project management
