The Area Leader of Recruiting (ALRec) leads the full‑cycle recruiting process for restaurant management positions and provides strategic support for crewmember hiring within a defined market. This role guides management and crew‑level staffing strategy across multiple locations and supports workforce planning tied to market growth. The ALRec partners closely with leadership to assess staffing needs and execute near‑term and long‑term recruiting strategies, including program and process rollouts. The role operates with autonomy and authority across multiple locations.

Your Impact and Responsibilities

  • Create a talent pipeline aligned with company growth strategy
  • Own the full‑cycle recruiting process for internal and external candidates
  • Lead the crewmember hiring strategy for new restaurant openings (NROs) to ensure staffing targets are met
  • Develop market and regional partnerships to support recruiting efforts
  • Lead the restaurant management recruiting process to ensure consistency across all markets
  • Own manpower planning and the talent selection process in assigned area(s)
  • Build the employment brand and expand community presence through partnerships with universities, networking organizations, community groups, vendors, and others
  • Develop annual manpower plans for area field‑based support leaders and conduct quarterly reviews
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with leadership and support teams to ensure alignment of recruiting efforts with goals and business needs
  • Provide recruiting reporting to all internal stakeholders and perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Able to live within the assigned area and work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Proficiency in technology systems, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
  • Ability to identify problems, set goals, develop plans, and execute actions to solve problems
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple, shifting priorities
  • Self‑driven, flexible, and highly energetic, with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the restaurant industry
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Information

The physical work environment for this role includes a combination of working from a home‑based office, representing Raising Cane’s out in the community, traveling throughout the division, and time spent in our restaurants. This can and will include working in a fast‑paced kitchen and interacting with and serving customers. It requires extended periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing and lifting, and working both inside and outside in varied temperatures, with and around food products and common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products, and requires use of personal protective equipment and ergonomic activities necessary to complete the job function.
