Alne Preschool Playgroup is looking for a Playgroup Assistant to join its friendly and established team.
We are a small setting offering a warm, supportive and inclusive environment for both children and staff. You will support children throughout the day, helping them learn and develop through play.
Our preschool operates from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, including school holidays.
About the Role:
Position: Playgroup Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Supporting children throughout the day in a welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Engaging with children through play and following their individual interests.
- Working as part of a friendly and established team.
- Encouraging outdoor play and learning opportunities.
- A genuine love of outdoor play.
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare is desirable.

Working Hours:
- Monday: 8.00am to 4.00pm.
- Tuesday: 8.30am to 4.00pm.
- Wednesday: 8.30am to 4.00pm.
- Friday: 8.00am to 12.00pm.
Hours: 27 hours per week
Rate of pay: £12.90 per hour for Level 3 qualified applicants
