We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant Practitioner to join the team caring for children aged 0 to 5 years old. This post is based in the Baby Room at York Campus Nursery, which accepts children of University staff, students and the public.
About the Role:
- Position: Early Years Assistant Practitioner (Baby Room)
- Responsibilities:
- Supporting the care and development of children aged 0 to 5 years old.
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children.
- Working closely with children, parents and colleagues.
- Supporting children's learning and development through play and everyday activities.
- Relevant experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years old.
- The ability to work sympathetically with children, parents and colleagues.
- An awareness of equal opportunity issues.
Hours: 25 hours per week (1.00pm to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday)
Rate of pay: £13.65 per hour
