At Copmanthorpe Childcare Centre, we provide a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We believe in delivering high-quality, child-led care that supports early development from infancy through to preschool. We are now looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring, and caring Early Years Educator to join our expanding team and help us make a meaningful difference in the lives of our youngest learners every single day.

About the Role:

  • Delivering exceptional early years education and care tailored to specific age groups, from babies aged 3 months to preschool age.
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through creative play and structured learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Organising and managing daily routines for different age groups, including feeding, changing, activity planning and school-readiness activities.
  • Planning, tracking, and evaluating children's progress, setting individual learning targets and keeping accurate records through Tapestry.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with parents and carers, providing updates and feedback on children's development and wellbeing.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, while following health and safety policies.

Requirements:

  • F&R Level 2 or 3 qualification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an early years, nursery, or childcare setting is preferred.
  • A kind, caring, energetic, and flexible approach.
  • The ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for role-modelling positive behaviour.
  • A clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or willingness to obtain one.
