Full Time: 40hrs per week Salary: £29,642 per annum Location: Raised in Bristol at the Greenway Centre (BS10)
We’re looking for an inspiring Early Years Educator with a Forest School Level 3 qualification to plan and lead weekly Forest School Sessions at our Raised in Bristol at the Greenway Centre nursery.
This is a blended role, with some time spent as part of the nursery team, supporting high‑quality learning and care within the nursery. The remaining time will be dedicated to planning, preparing, and leading inspirational Forest School sessions in Badocks Wood, just a five‑minute walk from the nursery.
You’ll champion outdoor learning, ensuring children have consistent opportunities to explore, take risks, and connect with nature, while maintaining strong communication and continuity between the indoor and outdoor elements of their experience.
Our Greenway nursery offers a more relaxed feel than larger settings, with just 62 places. It’s housed in a beautifully refurbished old school building designed to inspire young minds, with large windows, high ceilings, and a light, welcoming atmosphere. The garden runs the full length of the nursery and looks out over Greenway Playing Field. Just beyond that lies Badocks Wood, less than a five-minute walk down the footpath, where the Forest School sessions would take place.
ocated at the Greenway Centre in Southmead, this nursery is a short drive from Southmead Hospital and the local areas of Filton, Patchway, Westbury-on-Trym, Henleaze and Horfield. There is free parking on site in the community centre car park, and the area is also served by local bus routes running all across Bristol.
What about you?
In this role day to day, you’ll be based at the nursery in the preschool room but with the opportunity to plan and deliver regular weekly Forest School sessions. Taking the children out regularly into Badocks woods which lies just behind the nursery.
