We are looking for a results-driven business development manager to join our ever-expanding sales team.

If you’re driven, disciplined and energised by outbound sales, this is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a revenue stream with huge earning potential. You will be selling a suite of solutions for some of the newest and most in demand apprenticeships like AI & Automation, to Project Management & Improvement standards.

You will:

  • Respond to business-generated opportunities and engage with employers to drive learner starts on our apprenticeship courses and online programmes.
  • Provide expert guidance on apprenticeship levy and funding options to advise and support clients.
  • Facilitate seamless client handovers to our Operations and L&D Departments.
  • Generate and develop leads into new clients using the systems, data and technologies available as well as via personal acumen and insight.
  • Prepare proposals and contracts for clients that meet all stakeholder budgets and expectations.
  • Focus on personable account management of existing client accounts ensuring solid relationships are built, and client satisfaction and trust is achieved leading to repeat business.
  • Attend networking events and opportunities in order to discover new business leads and stay ahead of the curve on industry developments and trends.
  • Cross-sell and upsell our product solutions to ensure clients receive the greatest benefit from everything we can offer.
  • Build effective working relationships with the Marketing team to ensure client reach and engagement.
  • Work effectively with the wider Client Solutions team to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure client accounts are financially healthy and terms are adhered to.
  • Ensure individual and team targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, enabling effective tracking and analysis.
  • Actively communicate customer feedback to internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide responsive support to internal and external queries, demonstrating your commitment to exceptional service delivery.
  • Support the Head of Client Solutions with administrative and project support needs where required.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties and reasonable requests in line with business needs and the skill level of the post holder.

  • Proven 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the apprenticeship sector.
  • A consultative and solution-focused approach to sales.
  • A great network of contacts across LinkedIn and other sources.
