An exciting opportunity for a confident, self-motivated, organised individual to join an established finance brokerage firm. Ideally looking for someone with experience in working in an admin or finance environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping to monitor and organise our commercial & business loans at completion stage.
- Regular liaison with lenders and solicitors to provide updates on case progression.
- Proactively progress mortgage cases from offer through to completion.
- Liaise with clients directly to assist and resolve general enquiries and ensure they are up to date with the status of their mortgage.
- Obtaining, maintaining and submitting supporting client paperwork for compliance.
- General administration.
- Creating and chasing invoices.
- Help promote the company’s social media profile and output.
- Requirement of attending allocated networking events & trade expos.
Person Specification:
- Ideally 6 months plus mortgage administration experience (experienced administrators from other industries will be considered).
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- The ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload.
- Can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- The ability to work with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Use of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
- Ability to learn quickly the various systems used by mortgage and life insurance providers and our own network.
- Minimum C's in Maths and English.
Hours are 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Benefits include quarterly and annual discretionary bonus, some scope of working from home, contributory pension scheme, and 20 days annual leave (please note office is closed on all bank holidays and extended period during Christmas & New Year period).
