About Us: As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel, a leading UK steel stockholder, requires trainee machine operatives to work at our Rainham, Essex depot. Offering a competitive rate of pay, a dynamic and friendly working environment, and a secure position within an established company.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the warehouse manager
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Load the machine, set different shapes and quality check the finished product
- Assemble bundles for packing
- Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling
- Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary
Requirements
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- Organised and motivated
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
- Able to work in a fast-paced pressurised environment
- Good command of the English language
- Must be a good time keeper
