HGV Driver Class 1 C+E

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder requires an HGV DriverClass 1 C+E working from their Scunthorpe depot.

Location: Rainham Steel Co Ltd, Scunthorpe, DN15 8XF

Salary: Generous pay structure

Basic working hours 5am-3.30pm, opportunity for overtime

HGV DriverClass 1 C+E Key Responsibilities:

– Being presentable, professional, reliable and honest

– Adhering to working time regulations

– Pre-use vehicle inspection checks and defect reporting

– Ensuring goods are safely secured

– Making nationwide deliveries

– Meeting delivery schedules

– Keeping vehicles in good condition

HGV DriverClass 1 C+E You:

– Must have a valid Class 1 (category C+E) licence.

– CPC card and Digi Tachograph card

– A digital tachograph card essential

– Full understanding of Drivers Hours rules and WTD legislation

– Previous experience completing multi-drop deliveries would be advantageous

– Must have a good command of the English language.
