As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel, a leading UK steel stockholder and reinforcement fabricator, requires a Trainee Machine Operator to join the team in Rainham, Essex.
Location: Rainham Steel Co Ltd, Essex, RM13 9PF
Minimum starting salary of £560 per week (£13.17 p/h) depending on experience
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
The Job Role
- Reporting to the warehouse manager
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Load the machine, set different shapes and quality check the finished product
- Assemble bundles for packing
- Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling
- Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary
- Basic working hours 6am - 3.30pm, 42.5 hours per week
