This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and capable Product Designer (Fit Out) to join an industry leading contractor and manufacturer. Our client provides a range of resources and solutions to a whole host of blue-chip clients across the retail, banking, hospitality and commercial sectors.

The Product Designer (Fit Out) will have strong technical drawing capabilities and be able to translate concepts into accurate manufacturing-ready drawing packs. Working closely with design, production and project teams, he or she will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately and to the highest standard. They will primarily be working within the banking team and for a company that proudly does its own, high-quality manufacturing.

  • Produce detailed technical drawing packs for manufacture and installation
  • Develop and amend CAD drawings based on design briefs and project requirements
  • Interpret design concepts into practical, buildable solutions
  • Prepare joinery, fabrication, sheet metal and fit-out detailing documentation
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, specifications, and project timelines
  • Support project delivery through technical problem-solving and design coordination
  • Maintain accurate drawing revisions and project records

Previous experience in a Technical Designer role within the fit-out, interiors, or joinery industry is required. The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively is essential. Experience producing joinery or bespoke furniture drawing packs is also necessary, along with knowledge of fabrication and installation processes. Familiarity with Inventor, SolidWorks, Auto CAD, Adobe Suite and Revit is advantageous.
