Roles and Responsibilities for the
Head of Logistics
include, but are not limited to: Bringing a high level of energy, initiative and enthusiasm to the business Overseeing daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking / packing, QA and shipping Ensuring on-time and accurate order fulfilment Optimising warehouse layout and workflows to ensure maximum efficiency Implementing and monitoring KPIs (productivity, accuracy, turnaround times etc) Developing, training and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) Collaborating with senior management team in the development and delivery of key operational strategies Utilising data and software to drive decisions and change business processes to the benefit of the site Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular cycle counts Minimising shrinkage, damage and obsolescence Hiring, training, supervising, evaluating and building warehouse colleagues and managers Promoting a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement Conducting performance revues and providing coaching Scheduling labour effectively to meet business demands Ensuring Health & Safety compliance and other regulatory requirements Managing warehouse and transport operating budgets Identifying cost-saving opportunities Reporting operational performance to senior leadership Location:
