Rainford Berry are delighted to be exclusively recruiting this exciting opportunity for an experienced COINS Implementation Manager. He or she will lead a critical business transformation programme across two UK businesses within our clients: a Construction business and a Plant & Fleet Hire business. This 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential to extend and/or become permanent) will take ownership of the migration from Unit4 Agresso to COINS, delivering a modern ERP platform to support finance, commercial, operational and management reporting processes for approximately 200 users.
With COINS already in use across other group companies, this programme is designed to maximise efficiencies by bringing the Groups development and construction businesses onto one shared ERP platform. This is a highly visible role requiring much more than traditional IT project management. The successful candidate will be a confident bridge between business stakeholders and software implementation teams, ensuring requirements are fully understood, constructively challenged and translated into practical, effective COINS solutions. He or she will help agree the scope of works, objectives, timelines, milestones and measures of success, before driving delivery through to implementation. You will manage stakeholders across multiple departments and ensure the programme achieves its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of COINS across multiple business functions
- Act as the primary liaison between the companys stakeholders and the COINS delivery team.
- Translate operational, commercial and financial requirements into system solutions.
- Help drive best practice processes within COINS whilst leveraging 3rd party systems, API integrations etc to streamline business activities.
- Manage programme governance, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to define future-state processes.
- Oversee data migration, testing, training, cutover and go-live activities.
- Ensure workflow, forecasting, CVR and reporting requirements are fully delivered.
- Coordinate activities across Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Operations and Management teams.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and project sponsors.
- Drive user adoption and embed new processes across the business.
About You
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successfully delivering COINS implementations, ideally within main contracting, engineering, construction, plant or fleet environments, combined with the following:

- Significant ERP implementation project management experience.
- Demonstrable experience with the COINS ERP platform.
- Strong stakeholder management and business engagement skills.
- Experience translating business requirements into ERP solutions.
- Proven ability to manage third-party software providers and implementation partners.
- Experience delivering finance and operational system transformation projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong programme governance, planning and risk management capabilities.
