Our client is a dynamic group of companies incorporating contracting, manufacturing and logistics. With the Head Office and Manufacturing facility based in North-West London, the group also has extensive facilities located throughout Yorkshire. The business has built an exceptional reputation for innovation and service excellence, especially in the retail and banking sectors. The Group now requires a Head of Marketing to build a team that will ensure exceptional marketing output and bid results.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Marketing will develop marketing strategy, lead the end-to-end bid process and ensure alignment between the two. He or she will have performed a similar role within the construction, fit out or manufacturing sectors previously and be able to demonstrate a clear record of achievement.
Tasks within the role include but are not limited to:
- Quickly establishing a firm understanding of the company’s offering and differentials
- Developing a marketing strategy to successfully capitalise on these
- Creating exceptional marketing and bid collateral, including presentation decks that engage and deliver
- Overseeing the bid process from end-to-end
- Ensuring brand cohesion through all marketing and bid activities
- Managing and developing the company’s digital presence including the website, SEO and social media
- Building and managing the marketing and bid team
- Working with all relevant departments within the company (such as Technical and Sales) to ensure accurate and successful bids
- Creating accurate and compelling proposals and bid content for customer submission
- Reviewing customer RFP/RFI questions and scoring, ensuring that all responses meet customer requirements
Ideal candidates will be suitably qualified – Marketing Degree / CIM – and will have experience of building and managing a team. They will be exceptional communicators, committed to the group and have a strong desire to succeed.
