This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and confident Building Regulations Principal Designer to join a highly successful, London Headquartered construction company in a key role. Our client is a leading Interior Fit Out, Manufacturing and Logistics business operating across the UK, with an enviable blue chip client base across retail, banking, commercial and leisure sectors.
This hybrid position is for an expert to join the group's Banking Team, delivering fast-paced retail banking fit-out projects nationwide. The role requires an individual who can immediately and independently discharge the statutory duties of Principal Designer (Building Regulations) under the Building Safety Act, while also contributing as a skilled Technical Designer within the company's multi-disciplinary project workflows.
The successful candidate will lead Building Regulations compliance from project inception through detailed design, ensuring that all design work is coordinated, compliant, and fully evidenced. They will work closely with designers, contractors, security specialists, banking stakeholders, and Building Control bodies, taking a proactive role in managing compliance risk and safeguarding design integrity across multiple concurrent branch projects.
