This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and energetic Goods Out Manager to join an exceptional group of companies, in an important position. The business provides warehousing and logistics services, both to group entities and also to other companies, largely in the retail sector. The organisation holds large amounts of stock in its warehouses and distributes these items to sites as requested / required The Goods Out Manager will lead and manage the Goods Out Team, including Supervisors, Warehouse Operatives, Forklift Drivers and Packers. They will be responsible for all Outbound Logistics Management and will: Oversee the entire Goods Out Process, from order picking and packing to loading and dispatching goods to customers Ensure all outbound deliveries are accurately packed, labelled and meet customer specifications Liaise with transport providers and couriers to schedule collections and deliveries in line with agreed timeframes Track and monitor the progress of orders to ensure on-time delivery In order to be suitably qualified for this position, candidates will need to have: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics management role, preferably in goods-out or dispatch A proven track record of managing a team in a fast-paced environment Experience of working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
