Rainbowwave is seeking a dedicated Korean speaking Territory Manager with a minimum of 4 years International wholesale experience in a similar multi-brand showroom environment for coverage over the South Korean market. This role is responsible for managing a range of key account brands and building store relations across the South Korean territory. Working to both drive and maintain new business and pre-existing opportunities across our Women’s Designer, Denim and Contemporary fashion departments, the successful individual should be based in London.
The Role:
- Actively drive seasonal brand collections to active key and new accounts, both at the showroom and at trade shows.
- Setting sales strategy for brands alongside the department Directors.
- Set and be responsible for seasonal sales targets by store, country and region annually and per season with overview from the Global Sales Director.
- Identify and develop international accounts and partnerships.
- Analyse and present data.
- Work closely to support both the brands and the retailers we sell to, being able to provide relevant advice and support to the brands and have management over key decision making on behalf of the brand – distribution issues, payment terms, growth strategy, brand and collection development.
- Provide competitor analysis to ensure the brand has a commercial product offering at the right price point and is presented in the most effective way.
- Monitoring and maintaining sell through in existing stores and action stock swaps returns etc.
- Schedule and prioritise in store training and trunk shows to ensure the brand is represented correctly at all times.
Excellent Korean communication skills both written and verbal. Proficiency in additional foreign languages is considered an asset and is highly appreciated. In depth industry knowledge with regards to wholesale business practices, negotiations, margins and pricing structures especially within specified territory. Established relationships within the territory. Ability to work under pressure and self-motivated. Able to multitask and prioritise workload effectively. Target driven with good negotiation and presentation skills. An interest, enthusiasm and passion for premium quality product. A dedicated, hardworking and committed individual. Flexibility to work longer hours during the selling season as well as travel abroad.
